Life is All Around Us children's book

"Life is All Around Us" is a book designed to help children aged 3 through 8 understand the most basic concept of astrobiology: What it means to be alive. Through beautiful illustrations and child-centered prose, young students will journey with siblings Kit and Charlie as they contemplate the world around them. The book was created by Montana State University's Astrobiology Biogeocatalysis Research Center (part of the NASA Astrobiology Institute) in partnership with Hopa Mountain's early literacy program. A PDF copy of the book as well as a lesson plan/activity are available for free download. Hard copies of the book may be available as well; see Website for details.
