Scat, Transects, and Changing of Seasons

In this lesson, students will learn about the relationship between phenology and elk migration, practice field methods used by scientists to study elk movement, and have an opportunity to discuss how climate change might affect elk migration. Students will use critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills to conduct field research and discuss the findings of the research.
